On March 15, 2007 Dave Alvin gave the OK for archive.org:
"Howdy,
I do Dave Alvin's web site and have recently started a show archive that includes show info, setlists, pictures, and reviews, but
not any recordings. I have talked to Dave about this and he is happy to have his live recordings traded. I mentioned archive.org
to him and he thought it was a good idea, although he is not terribly computer literate, so he asked me to help set it up.
I do have a Q&A page setup where Dave can answer web-submitted questions and someone did ask him about setting up an archive.org
archive. He agreed. http://davealvin.com/dave/dquest.html (just search for archive.org ).
Anyhow, I'd like to get this going for Dave if you all agree.
What do we need to do next?
Thanks,
